This is the second year I've let my broody hen hatch eggs. Yesterday, when I took her off the nest to eat (she's only 2 days on eggs right now), I recognized something I'd forgotten I'd heard her do last year - TALK to her eggs. Whenever she's off the nest, she makes this little cluck noise the whole time she's away! She is TALKING to her eggs! She lets them know that mama is near and will be right back. She does this anytime she's away from the eggs and even when the chicks were too little to leave the nest. Ms. Luna is a great mama! :)
What to expect: chickens, cats, CHickens, plants, CHICKens, Reviews, CHICKENS, and Random Thoughts! It's not all chickens ~ but I am a little addicted ;)
